Areas of work
Academic research
Academic research includes AI Minimalism: necessity-first security design for intelligent systems, examining complexity, model behavior, and risk. Certificate research investigates trust relationships using public Certificate Transparency data.
Products and open tooling
SPECTRA CERT is in active development. The planned open-source tool examines certificate history, subject alternative name relationships, and issuance patterns using public Certificate Transparency data.
Open-source involvement
Open-source involvement includes the founder’s contributions to k3sm, a project bringing native Kubernetes workloads to Apple Silicon.
Project-selection criteria include a documented mission, research into existing alternatives, responsible engineering practices, and an active funding destination linked from GitHub.
Support for maintainers
The first merchandise release, People > Prompts, supports AI development tool usage for k3sm contributors. Each release identifies its beneficiary and funding arrangement.
Funding may compensate the founder and other contributors for project work. Independent projects receive the full net payout allocated to the release, with no share retained by 0xSpectra.
